How to use this page
- Drop your compliant photo — already cropped to the right aspect ratio and dimensions for your application. Use the image compressor with the relevant preset to make one if you haven't yet.
- Pick the sheet size. 4×6 inch is the standard photo kiosk size and is easiest to print at any pharmacy or photo lab. A4 fits more copies and prints on any home printer.
- Pick the photo size. 35×45 mm is the global passport-photo standard. US passport uses 2×2 inch. Some countries vary — pick "Custom" to enter exact dimensions.
- Click "Generate print sheet". We lay out as many copies as fit, with thin cut guides between them.
- Download the PDF and print at exact size (don't let your printer "fit to page" — print at 100% scale).
Your photo never leaves your device. Layout runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. We do not store, log, share, or even see your photos — there is no server-side processing.
Printing tips
- Print at 100% scale. If your print dialog shows "Fit to page", change it to "Actual size" or "100%". Otherwise the photo dimensions will be wrong.
- Use photo paper for kiosk-quality results. Glossy or matte photo paper, 4×6 inch, works in most kiosk printers and home photo printers.
- For home printing on A4 / Letter, use the highest quality setting your printer offers, plus the right paper (photo paper for best results, plain paper works for draft).
- Cut along the guides. A craft knife and steel ruler give the cleanest edges; scissors work fine for one or two copies.
Common photo dimensions
- Passport 35 × 45 mm — India, UK, EU, Australia, most countries
- US passport 2 × 2 inch (51 × 51 mm) — US passport, US visa DS-160 print copies
- China visa 33 × 48 mm — China visa applications
- Canada passport 50 × 70 mm — Canadian passport (larger than most)
Frequently asked questions
Why don't my printed photos come out at the right size?
The most common cause is "Fit to page" being on in the print dialog. Switch to "Actual size" or "100%" and the photos will print at the exact dimensions specified. Some printers also have a slight margin that shrinks the printable area — if precision matters, measure a test print before cutting.
Can I include white space around each photo?
The default layout adds 3 mm of spacing between photos plus cut guides. This is enough room to cut without trimming into the photo. You can always trim further with scissors after cutting along the main guides.
How many photos fit on a 4×6 sheet?
For 35×45 mm passport photos, a 4×6 inch sheet fits 6 copies (2 columns × 3 rows). For 2×2 inch US passport photos, 4 copies fit on a 4×6 sheet. A4 fits substantially more — typically 12-20 copies depending on the photo size.
